grouping symbols/pre-algebra is my worst problem. Can any one assist me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject?

How about some more particulars on your problem with grouping symbols/pre-algebra? I might be able to suggest . If you are not able to get a good help or some one to sit and sort out your problem or if it is too costly , then there might be another solution to your problem. There are some good math software that you can look into . I tested them out myself. It came across to me as brilliant as any tutor can be. I would opt Algebrator for the kind of answer that you are looking out for . What is nice about it is that it takes you step by step to the answer rather than just giving the answer. Why not give it a try ?
